Hey,

small question,

Does an SSD drive get more wear with XP on it, because XP does not support the TRIM feature?

Or does TRIM only make a difference in speed?

I wouldn't worry about it tbh. Just make sure to get an SSD that has wiper.exe (Indilinx based SSD's) or an Intel X25M-G2 which is quite resilient to the performance degradation associated with being used over time.

If you're going to be RAIDing multiple SSD's, then I'd recommend the G2 as wiper.exe isn't so good with RAID arrays.

Otherwise, for extra peace of mind, consider the Crucial M225 range, as these have a 5yr warranty.

If you're not actually looking to buy an SSD and was just looking for an answer to your question, then apologies for my boring reply :)
