admittedly Mugen version, though has combos and is great to play, best of all its free to download

came across it while configuring my mame system, works great using the arcade stick

there are plenty of different versions out there, with literally 1000s of characters lol but this should get you started into mugen, been a fan of mugen for a while myself ;)

yeah open source and people make their own characters / background music which you can easily integrate, so you can have scorpion v ryu, or superman v mario :)

Vids i seen on youtube looks low res, is there hi res gfx in the game or options to get detailed high gfx? Also is there aa ingame available.

I could be wrong but:

As the game is rendered in 2D what you get is what you get. Fancy filters such as anti aliasing etc won't work, you can't increase the resolution because everything is drawn at a certain resolution.

It isn't like a 3D game. But then, that's part of its charm.

I really wish the obsession with super high res, AA, AF, etc would go away, i miss the days of gameplay > graphics.
