SSF2HDR - PC

Well i hope it does have aa or high res i think i read btw that it has high res hacks tho duno as not jumped right into looking through it heavily the main site for it.

I can't see there being any high res hacks, as the graphics will be sprites, and not drawn as vectors. This is the way things used to work, you see... limited amount of memory/video RAM means that there's only so much space for graphics :D

Well i found out that with the downloadable mugen on its own it has in the cfg file a DoubleRes feature which smooths the pixels. So its a shame the sf2 hd remix doesn't use that version so im having to make my own mugen with characters and stages myself, which is a learning experience but its good as i can customise it the way i want now, with the original sf2 on snes sprites instead of them fancier ones. Etc.

;Set this parameter to use a resolution-doubling filter. You will
;need a fast machine to use these filters. You will need to increase
;the screen resolution to at least 640x480 for these modes.
;0 - off
;1 - diagonal edge detection
;2 - bilinear filtering
;3 - horizontal scanlines
DoubleRes = 2

Is this legal in terms of copyrighted materials for the name and characters? Unless there is some evidence proving it's legal we're probably going to have to close this thread.

Thanks, it looks ok to me but I'll have to send that link to the dons as they have the final say in all these things.

Madness, is this any good before I bother??

Cheers mate :)

yeah its alright game, well worth the 700mb download

i personally think it runs too fast but you can reduce the speed in options

I dont get it, anytime i save options i restart the game and theyre all defaulted, i tried using that cfg folder but no change.

I ran the exe and still have no config file.

Want to config it up so I dont have to go to options and set volume etc everytime.

Well the way im used to it is that the boxer is balrog, the end boss of sf2 was m.bison. Vega was the claw bloke, and Saget was the tall one.
