St. Patrick's Day

Going down to the local with my flat mates and having a few beers nothing to exciting really. My irish mates want to me come out and party, so i dunno maybe it will be a crazy night.

I wore some genuine shamrock today (I know its a day early) and everyone was like, "err whats with the cress"

I might break the habit of a lifetime and indulge in a pint of Guinness :p Not a lot else apart from that really, I barely celebrate any other national holidays so I doubt I'll celebrate a foreign one!

Taking the missus out for a meal. But having absolutly nothing to do with St Patricks day, I'm English and couldn't care less about a foriegn countries patron saint

My plans: get up, go to school, go to town buy shoes, see friends, pick up boyfriend who i've not seen for 2 weeks and then home and stay in room all night.
I'm part Irish (mum's family are Irish but she was born here) but i don't do anything for St Patricks, part English (dad's mum is English) but don't nothing for St Georges day and obvious Scottish but do nothing for St Andrews day...not any Welsh though

Damn hard to get a good pint of Guinness in England though and he'll have to spend it with <gasp> English people

I feel his pain. Drinking poor Guinness with the dreaded Sasanach!
The accent works a charm though, he'll be pulling left right and centre. It must be a novelty to shag an Irishman on St. Paddys day over here :D

I'm having a dilemma though, which t-shirt do I wear? I'm looking to provoke as many HIGH FIVES as possible so which shirt should do the job?

Lá Fhéile Pádraig Sona Daoibh!

I think he'll mainly be trying to drink as much as possible to prove that Irish people can indeed outdrink anyone ;)

Probably the top one then - Father Ted will gain more high fives than anything written in Irish. I can only begin to guess what "slat" and "thóin" are ;)

If there was any fuss made then I might, but I find it difficult to care about it given that no-one else does and he was a dirty turk anyway.

Was St Patrick even Irish? Rumour has it that he was actually born in Scotland!
