Really not happy with the amazingly crap airflow in my lian li v1000+, just looking to see what people think of the stacker cases. Not gona be an immediate purchase, probably nearer the end of the year.

Wondering if a thermalright 120 ultra extreme will fit in the case if the fan holder on the cases side has all 4 slots occupied.

Try and source the old stacker 830 as it's the better case than the new ones.
Or get an akasa eclipse but im sure you've already owned one?

Why it better than the newer ones? Ive got a 832 and the only difference I see is the door on the front

If you are buying a stacker for improved airflow:
firstly a word of caution i don't think you can have the large heatsinks
+ the fans on the side door as it won't fit in most cases.
and i got my info wrong i thought the 832 didn't have mesh sides
but it seems it does?
The stacker 830 has a mesh door which allows air to be pulled in by the array of 120mm fans in a bracket. The 832 use a different front door (less air intake) they look nice but not as good in the airflow department.+ it is CHEAPER £127 delivered or less couldn't be asked to search hard.
Also there's a review somewhere comparing saying the 830 is built better
more sturdy less noise from hdd reverberation and fans remember
looking into it before i bought the eclipse.
So basically you are really paying for better aesthetics rather than improved
performance.

when you consider the aboves price and the amount of room+ fans you can bung in there.
Not at all knocking the 832 just pointing out there's very little difference
for more money i myself love the look and features of the 832 and would
get one if it were say £120 and i were not in love with the black
Lian Li PC-A16B.Overall for the money it costs there are far better cases around for £160 i can get a silverstone tj09.

I have an Stacker 810. Its the best case I have ever owned, and TBH it will be my last one as well. There is loads of room, good airflow in mine. Temps are really good even on air. You can fit an Watercooled ysytem in there with no probs either. I expect the 810 series to be quite cheap as well by now. :)

the temps on mine are [email protected] =29c with a Scythe Infinity Heatpipe
8800GTS 550/900 43c with a Thermalright HR-03-PLUS

because i have the P35 DS4 i have to fit the fan on the Scythe facing the front of the case
So i cant fit the 4xfan door, but as you see(the temps) i dont need to.

and i am missing the 120 fan on the front(dead when it came)but CM are sending me a new one.

I have a Stacker 832 with a thermalright 120 ultra extreme... you can fit 3 of the fans on the side, but not the 4th.
