Stag Do - Blackpool

Another vote for Newcastle here.
Went January last year for my mates stag do.
Did Friday and Saturday night, only got about 4hrs kip all weekend.
Excellent time was had by all.
If I went again with the lads though, we would go by choo choo, not fun driving back on a sunday after a 16hr session the day before :(
 
The place is gonna be blackpool. Im sure its no worse than Slough!

It's a hole :o Get a flight or train to Newcastle, won't be much dearer than driving to Blackpool.

I've been to Syndicate once. It's ok, has some decent DJ's on and is bloody massive! Very easy to lose your mates in, especially because of the revolving dance floor :p

The rest of Blackpool is a hole full of toothless women and *******s.

Nope.

Nowhere is any good in Blackpool. You either get queers or chavs, neither of which do I want to spend any extended time clubbing with :)

Went on a night out many years ago and the only place we could get in as a group was the Jaggy Thistle. Quite a night. :eek:
 
Blackpool is funny!!! Newcastle is a good night out.Not sure where your from but Bristol is a top night out! To be honest though just dig your passports out and get abroad probably work out just as cheap TBH

From Maidenhead, near windsor. Abroad is a no go as theres too many ppl with expired passports!

I went with that company last year for my stag do. Blackpool is a hole and I would never go back its that bad. It was the middle of the summer and none of the bars even had airconditioning, they were sweltering by the time they had filled with people. Sure the beer was cheaper than london but I would rather pay a little more and drink in a nice place. The hotel we had was supposed to be two to a room and 6 rooms for my mates. We got there and the place was properly disgusting and i ended up in a small room sleeping in the same bed as my brother. The shower had a massive gap by it and we could see down into the dinning room. The beer and food were rank in the place too.
 
I believe that Blackpool depends on what you want from a night out.

You want dirty women and 3 STD's go to Blackpool

You want classy women and a nice evening of frollocking go somewhere else

ROSE & CROWN + BEAT CLUB - Rose & Crown is just a pub, Beat is a night club. Majority is black people and its krunk grunge underground hip hop crap.

WEST COAST ROCK CAFE - this is just a very small bar above some shops. They have local bands playing sometimes. Nothing special

APHRODITE`S - Lap dancers - never been in myself but my boss goes in a bit - says its great :p

LINEKERS BAR - never been in - but its in the part of town that is away from the main area of bars/clubs (same as DNA) - very much an out-of-towners bar and chavvy as

Other bars in the main bar area are chain bars like Walkabout, always a good night in there. Flares, good for a laugh and a few drinks. Litten Tree, Yates, Cahoots and NTK (on same street as Brannigans). Also check out Bar19 and Tapas Bar for shots and that kind of thing. Up another street there are a few more typical bars, Schofields and Lionels... and on that same street is another lap dance club called Too Hot to Handle. Moving down a bit more into Talbot Square, there is Rumors, which is again a big bar with music, under which there is another Hip Hop club called Hush. Oposite Rumors is another pub/bar called Counting House.

There is also a bar called Roxy's in the main bar area - its a gay venue but cause its so close to the straight bars its pretty much mixed gay/straight people. DJ's are a couple of drag queens and they sometimes have a bit of caberet on.

If you move away from the Promenade a little (5minute walk), there is a block of gay bars that if you don't mind that kind of thing and enjoy a good atmosphere and good music then might be worth checking out.

Bar B is just a bar with music, Flying Handbag is a pub, and then upstairs is Flamingo which is a massive club. Excellent music and excellent atmosphere and slowly is becoming very popular with more and more straight groups of friends.
 
I lived in Blackpool for 6 months and i loved it.
I was a student at the time but hey we had fun :D

The syndicate is excellent on saturday night.......

Ill probably have a night out in blackpool for my mates
that cant make my stag-do in Ibiza :D - thats the place for a stag do,
well it is for us anyway

Blackpool is a dive really, seriously just fly to Newcastle it rocks :)
