GSC Game World company declares that the beginning of the STALKER 2 - the official continuation of the popular game series. It will be a multi-platform technology developed at the GSC.

Not getting my hopes up at all for this, will probably be a dumbed down version of one of my favourite game franchises of all time for the invalids who play on the consoles.
 
They saw what happened with Metro 2033 and no doubt want a piece of the pie.

I'm praying that they do the PC version 1st.
 
As per usual a nice find by Neil79. :)

Somehow I just don't see them committing artistic and commercial suicide by making a pants game.


Btw : Pavel is aiming for COP complete before the year is out so fingers crossed.
 
I am sure the developers will lie about how they have made seperate games so it is not dumbed down for us PC users, then its released as a complete shambles!

Nope just can't stand to see such ignorance. The number of PC gamers I see going on about how the console wars are terrible and childish yet many of them are no better :confused: Just a ridiculous attitude to have. I game quite happily on console and PC, if you limit yourself to any one platform then you are missing out on something.


On topic I enjoyed the first Stalker but haven't played the ones since, will keep an eye on this though :)

When the majority of the users, especially on the XBox 360 are retarded American children then yes, i'd say so. Used to have a 360 myself back in the day till I got the RROD, M$ sent me a replacement and I part exchanged it for a PS3, never looked back.

Note that FPS games are much better on the PC, this is even more so when it comes to the complexity of S.T.A.L.K.E.R games where a couple of buttons just won't cut it. I've clearly touched a nerve here, i'm sorry you got all upset.

So now they're disabled AND retarded? Any more sweeping generalisations you'd like to add? Of course I assume you have some sort of source to back this up...or are you just being a *****?

I'm guessing dumbed down and instead of doing what was needed and bumping the model/texture/animation quality up, they will instead leave that the same and drag the amazing and damn near perfect lighting engine down to the console level.
