I haven't played it for about a year - apart from a quick test to check out the improvement from my previous CPU/GPU,
but if asked, I honestly couldn't relay much about the story at all.

The exploration was great fun, though, and it was very kind of the zone's inhabitants to leave so much loot lying around - everywhere!

V1.9 update is out, but other than an extra 45-60mins playtime extra quest, and some minor bug fixes, nothing to see here.

They cant be selling many copies any more, a bug update will need a lot of developer time and I can't see the pay off being there.

They're updating to a new version of UE5, so there is definitely dev time allocated to it. Just compile it with HW RT!

Neah, just set easy mode and be done with it - if I even like it to beging with. I'm done with stupid game design and cutting corners due to lack of inspiration or passion.

Yer this game left me so dissapointed the orignal trilogy for their time was brilliant. This one not so much.

Wouldn't mind picking it up at some point but lowest price currently is £22.99 I think. I'm sure it was £18 or £19 a while ago at the same place. Don't want to pay much in case goes into my "started, never finished" bucket.
I enjoyed the first two but for some reason couldn't really get into Call of Pripyat. Have recently started Clear Sky again as never competed it, just the first one.

The original Stalker games were broken for a long time, but they ended up becoming something special eventually with some help from the modding comunity. Stalker 2 just seems like its never going to make it from what I keep reading. The A life system was the main draw for me and from what I have seen S2 has nothing close to it. Time to fire up the Misery mod instead.

Why do people bother with VFX? At some point they just need to understand that it is just a movie / game, not reality and just move along.

Just imagine how Titanic would have been made with paper ships... or Star Wars with stuff made of cardboard stuff, colored in creions!
