Yep, shut down and reopen Steam at 16:00. Then have a quick look at the Steam discussions to laugh at the impatient people outraged that the install button hasn't appeared by 16:00:01Not looking at any reviews, trailer or anything lol - just going to jump in.
I assume the option to download it will appear in steam, at 1600?
Great shout, downloading now!I just started donwloading it on gamepass, just checked it on the off chance.
Absolutely, this is the way. Go in without the hype, expectation or pre-bias and enjoy it for what it is.Not looking at any reviews, trailer or anything lol - just going to jump in.

Not sure its that its accepted, I think its probably more that peoples definition of a "mess" varies. A game has to be in a pretty bad way for me to call it a mess.
You may not be in the minority, especially just before Christmas month when money is tight for a lot of people. I guess the thing with bugs etc is that its a very personal thing and varies from one player to another as to what their tolerance level for bugs is. If a game is fun to play then I have a higher tolerance for its bugs (example being something like Space Marine 2) than if a game isnt fun to play (example being something like Gollum)It's looking as though this day zero/one patch, plus probably a hotfix shortly to be released for critical/important issues is more like the build that reviewers should have ideally been testing. From there, it's probably another large update away from being considered acceptable/good to I'd guess most people outside of fans of Stalker. All in, that's probably at minimum a month away.
Maybe I'm in the minority, but I'd rather the game be delayed.
I think I said earlier in this thread that I normally only pre-order fromsoft games cos I know they will deliver, but I preordered this because 1:cheap lol and 2:I’m expecting a buggy mess on release having played all the previous stalker gamesAll the people preordering don't help with the state of game releases. Sort of like a single player, escape to Tarkov, but not an extraction gameNever played a stalker game. What's it like?
I'm in... and after a 155 GB preload it's pretty much downloading a load more to patch it (to stop pirating, I assume)
