I was thinking of pre-ordering this,but remembered how buggy the old ones were at launch,so decided against it. Have Gamepass,so will give it a quick try first.

Strangely the only time I see the framerate drop is suing the cutscene and that seems almost intentional lol, soon as gameplay resumes it's back up to triple digits. You cans ee this in the video during the final cutscene bit. Almost as if they targeted 60fps for cutscenes but as fps is unlocked, it just renders above that. For that to be the onloy bug (so far) that's rather impressive I'd say as things could have been way worse.
I took no screenshots yet, too busy evading monsters.

Game running very well, 130/140fps average everything on epic, motion blur off though. DLSS quality, and frame generation on. 10900k/4090 res 3440x1440
Annoying HDR defaults to off when running game in window fullscreen, it requires to be in fullscreen exclusive. Other than that, all runs good. Graphics look incredible, and the sound effect ... wow.
Absolutely loving this,absolutely incredible looking game at times.
I play a lot of SPT tarkov mod, grayzone warfare, ready or not,six days in fallujah,squad, hell let loose etc etc , yes i really enjoy the realism side of fps games ,throw in lots of pve missions and content and this game could well keep me busy for a long time.
With this and MSFS2024 release yesterday its been a great 48 hours but cant wait to play a lot more of both.
Wondering now if i should buy both instead of renting them on game pass.
Max settings with DLSS + frame gen im hitting 100-140 fps 1440p,FG input is barely noticeable too which is nice.
7800X3D + 4070

My first Stalker game but giving "Stalker" difficulty a go, I couldn't ignore that they said this difficulty is how they intended the game is played.
