Stalker 2

- Fixed a crash on save load some people were experiencing
- Fixed some of the issues that led to a crash during shader loading for some players.

I've just got to Malachite and had a crash when I spoke to a random scientist.
One thing I did notice was the time it took to compile the shaders was quicker than usual.
Normally, it's around a minute for me, but definitely faster that time.

For those having slow downs, here are some things to try:

1. if you have FG on, turn it off and try.
2. If available try different upscale methods, or turn it off.
3. Try vsync off
4. Set an FPS cap in your driver control panel
5. See if VRR is on (if applicable)
6. If all else fails and you have a GPU, RAM or CPU overclock/undervolt. Turn them off and see if it helps.

This may sound condescending, but in the 30+ years of working in IT support, if you are affected by issues most people aren’t getting in a particular game… it’s not the game.

Swap #6 and #1

Just had an encounter with a chimera on the roof of a building. I pumped a ton of ammo into it and finally managed to defeat the beast. It seemed quite spongy to me, even for a chimera.
Relieved from having come through the skirmish, I decided to perch myself on the ledge and look down just to make sure it was dead, though I was 99.9% sure it was.
I'd done this many times before so wasn't too concerned, but this time I misjudged it and fell to my death… and yes, I had killed the chimera.

Unfortunately, I hadn't saved either.

Yeh, my next pad will definitely have them, thing is, before the latest megapatch, it was working perfectly, now it ain't, and like I said, no ability to adjust within the game.

Can you change it in:

Right-click game in Steam Library > Manage > Controller Layout
- Edit Layout > Joysticks > Right Joystick Behavior gear icon
Dead Zones ?

Shader loading for me seems much quicker and the load times.
Don't think I'm getting any more fps but game just feels overall a lot smoother for me.
Yeah same here ,shader loading much quicker and fps seems a lot smoother and for benefit of others having problems only crash i had was few weeks ago after 1st patch...

Even after doing a clean Windows install I cant get the game to load, it still just crashes during Compiling Shaders.
