Star Trek Bridge Crew - Tonight?

What do you guys think about a VR gaming thread? Kinda thinking of making an OCUK/VR gaming group so those whose friends haven't ascended to the glory that is VR gaming can get some COOP/PVP play in.

What you reckon? Only thing I'm unsure of is whether we would need a separate Steam thread and Oculus thread (etc) as crossplay seems sadly lacking.

Where abouts do you mean? On the PC gaming board? Would need to have a list of the available games.

On here really, it seems to be it's own little VR island.

There's already a What are you playing? thread.

The issue with making a thread like that is it tends to die off, everyone says it's a good idea, then it doesn't actually move forward :D. Think we've tried to have 4 star trek games now, and succeeded on 2 of them. Don't think we'd have been so persistent had the first one not gone so well.

This has been tried and hasn't really worked. The only real way to do it, is the way we are currently doing Star Trek. As a per game thing. Pick a game organise a night and then see who turns up. (see my next post)

We have had two brilliant nights in Star Trek, great fun, but two non starters as well.

Well, I am thinking of organising a Walkabout mini Golf night.

You can have 5 players at the same time. Anyone interested? Could be fun.

I'd say make a new thread for it. Might be people who just don't pay attention to this, but would be up for golf. I don't have it, and will likely be busy tonight anyway.

already asked in the suggestions forums, it got turned down

Ah fair enough, I guess if I fancy a game and my only VR owning mate isn't about I'll start a thread.

It can be like this one is. Doesn't have to be for that one off game, but re-used. Easier to track a single thread that you know you might be interested in. I mean the VR forum is slow enough anyway, but still, nice to easily be able to pick the threads that interest you.
