Star Trek: Section 31

Who is this film aimed at? Most OG Trekkies won't watch it, same with most ST:NG, DS9 & Voyager fans that won't watch it and nor will many Enterprise fans. The only people left are the "new" Discovery (and maybe Picard) audience which is very small and definitely not large enough to support a film, even one thats just being streamed, as it won't bring in enough "new" paying fans to cover its costs.

It's just an odd choice with no clear reason to show why it will make enough money for a Studio to say "yes! Lets spend $XXXm on this!!!" that I can see.

Looks like it's pushing some kind of agenda or aimed at a female audience.

Kinda reminds me of the Witcher spin off that I gave a hard pass.

was weird watching Vikings the other day and seeing diversity from many races but not the "american" style of diversity which basically means mainly black people and an LGBT cast doing some panto show

I was foolish enough to give it a chance, utter pants much like this looks to be.

Hard pass from me, these companies never seem to learn.

They rely on outside investment and to be nominated for any awards they have to be DEI
