**** Star Wars: Battlefront ****

Just had an enjoyable few games. On Endor map when you get to second control points on Walker Assault I just happened to be up on the trees above the walker when it was being attacked. That ended and the points moved to the third set so I did a running jump and landed on a walker. Unfortunately my screenshot didnt save but another trooper jumped on behind me and we rode all the way to the end on the head of the walker. Strange thing was we were immune to laser blasts. When they hit us it was like they were hitting the personal shield but we could fire. Racked up quite a good score. Couple of times we were hit by missile took damage but survived. Might try that one again for ***** and giggles.
 
I've had a few instances when it lags slightly, which usually happens during close combat. I've been gaming via homeplugs so will be throwing a cable down the stairs to see if that helps.

Plays like a dream - agreed.

Lack of depth, lack of decent story line, lack of decent sp. Linear and badly desgined maps.

I have tried it, I have put 30 hours into it. Therefore I can leave as much of my opinion on the game as I wish.

White knight somewhere else.

Game is fun but it had SO much more potential, hopefully with the CTE being over for bf 4 now, we will see battlefront get some much needed love but given that EA even admitted that the game lacks depth and that they wanted it to be done that way as they wanted any old noob to be able to pick it up and play without having to spend more than 5 minutes learning how to play, nothing will really change :(

What annoys me once again is they take forever to make any changes ie.. the dl-44, grenade spam took far too long to fix and imo was the main issues with the game, iirc that is why at least 3 of my crew stopped playing completely.

Probably. I wouldn't bother tbh as if it is anything like previous BF games and dlc, they will be dead within 1 month probably even quicker given how little PC players there are now.

So in your opinion if a game looks nice and plays well yet has the depth of a puddle with a flawed DLC and boring game modes it is a perfect game and must be free from an differing opinions? Wow EA must love you.

I like to get my value for money target met, then I can critique my game.

Also nobody can suck at a game like SWBF, built in wallhacks and laser guns, please.
 
had a few games of this every now and again. not changed much. Although first time I managed to get all 3 awards at the end. Never thought I would see that. Noticed there seems to be less cheating maybe they have got bored and gone elsewhere. Still happening in one match though 78 kills 1 death and on losing side. Yeah right.
