Not sure if it's still on but a week or a few weeks ago. Fallen Order was £3.60 on steam which is a steal.

Sorry just realised Tess already mentioned it.

Yeah EA Play or other store fronts will not be installed regardless of price. Been there done that before and they're just awful compared to Steam.
 
Well I got it and just as suspected, you have to install the EA App just like RGSC, that's really annoying. Well what's done is done, I will play the game, then Revo-uninstall the lot!

The platforming is relentless, and people said Uncharted was way too much Parkour lol. The visuals are stunning for sure and the combat, but the amount of walking around and climbing gives Tomb Raider a run for its money. Also not being able to skip cutscenes and the mouse camera having a rubber bandy effect was kind of annoying. Very good performance though, just wish the things like that were optional, or it had mouse RAW input.

Yeah, I played it for about 3-4 hours and there was plenty of platforming and too much backtracking and I soon lost interest.

Shame as I liked the concept and it looked great. Might try it again eventually, but it’s put me off the sequel for now at least as it’ll probably be more of the same.

I'm playing through it again now.

I was going to take issue with this, but when you have to climb the tree in Kashykk the platforming is pretty relentless to be fair.

Also the game does not hold your hand at all in terms of where to go and what to do. It's somewhat refreshing but can also lead to frustrating bits.

The best bit of info I can give is just follow the story and don't worry about exploring, at least until you get all the Jedi powers (last one is the double jump)

Also the starting planet is the worst. Zeffo is much better.
 
Very much looking forward to this, I didn't pay much attention to Fallen Order then played it a couple of years after release and was blown away (managed to get it for free, can't recall if it was an EGS deal or some other promo). If this sequel is even close then I'll be happy.
