I hope the space combat is in the similar style as FTL, that would be brilliant. Fitting system stations to the ship and have your npc crew run around manning the stations or repairing.

I just made it to my second planet, and the first thing I kill, dropped me a legendary 2 handed 'eye sword'. niiiice

The silly thing is, on level 10 worlds, you're just as likely to have a level 5 sword drop as something you can actually use.

I keep getting legendaries that looks awesome but are completely useless to me. :D

Found the gravity bubble tech, and I can basically fly for minutes at a time now :)

One other thing I just figured out, which may help someone...

Don't bother with the high-tech bandages. Use the cooking bench to make stews and things instead. They cost a fraction of the cost of bandages (50 pixels each for the nano-bandages), and heal about 10x more.

Frankly, bandages suck, cooking food works 100000x better.

Since when did food heal and not just replenish hunger?

The food that you craft with a wooden kitchen table thing, lets you make much better food.

If you just grow plants and eat them, you have to eat about 4 plants to fill your bar, and they don't give health or other effects.

If you make the plants into prepared meals, two things happen:

The meal fills you up instantly.
You heal (better than bandages and much longer duration).

There might also be side effects like faster movement, being set on fire, etc :) Depends on recipe used.

I don't mind about the wipes, I don't mind about the random runtime errors.. I just wish there had been warning.. and in the case of my single player game, my ship was deleted, along with everything on it..oh well..

Well after this update, my new "planet" doesn't appear to actually be a planet...

It's an asteroid field! :/

As luck would have it, even though my universe was reset, I still had over 400 coal in my personal inventory (along with loads of other stuff) so I can just warp outta there!

Having lost my ship and all my gear, I really can't be arsed to start again until there are more significant improvements on offer.

Really don't like the new ship teleporter. Have to use 'e' then choose a destination from the menu with the mouse, whereas before I could just press 'e' and I was gone...
