Also, I think the server is running on the dedi now. I'll leave it on overnight to make sure it doesn't play up and will make it public tomorrow.

The game doesn't always exit, or crash cleanly and will still run in the background. Double check you don't have loads running.
 
I preordered this on a 4 pack with someone from here but forgot who haha will have to try dig up their email address tomorrow!

I've also registered on http://starbound-servers.net/server/21/ so please vote it up/whatever :p

Once we have the facility we will be setting up a whitelist but for the time being that isn't possible so we'll be sticking with the password (which you can get from linktart.co.uk).
 
No worries.

Can I ask anyone that jumps on before the evening to go lightly on resources such as trees and such? New players that join in the evening might struggle if there's a lack of the basic stuff nearish to spawn :)
 
I'm pretty new, so that's ok!

I was still picking rocks with my beam while others chomped through resources :D
