sounds like..... voyager...

..but i didn't mind that and it's Stargate and i must have my Stargate fix now that Atlantis has been cancelled (last season).

Only down-side for me is that, except the team leader and maybe one of the previous series cast, the rest of them will be 20 year olds.

It sounds like voyager with stargates. Can't see this being any good really. I can't really understand why they'd copy voyager which was relatively unsuccessful?

I like Atlantis, it has a few more seasons left yet imo, shouldnt have been canned. I hope this is good but as said it sounds like Voyager.

So, they will be going to other gates. Instead of selecting which gates to visit they will visit a pre-programmed gate, but they wont be travelling by gate. Lost in space meets Wheel of Fortune meets TNG?

Or to be more cynical, SG1 without the SGC

Still disapointed that Atlantis is canceled just when it was getting pretty good as well, still its not too bad just sci-fi channel are more interested in making made for tv movies on dvd/bluray they seem to sell big time regardless and are very popular, am sure SG1/Atlantis TV movies will be pretty big regardless.

I hear SG Universe is gonna have more young crew/people in it... but yeah thats just Voyager all over again and while it can fulfill many loose ends or even expand on the SG universe I dunno if anyone can stand another Repeat of Voyager !

SGA cancelled? Bah humbug. Enjoyable lighthearted scifi so obviously it needs killing.

At least SGA got to finish a season though.

a lot of fans are disapointed saying it will have the same ill fate with SG1 did they sorta had to round up all within the last ep but obviously it wasnt able to be done so well since they only found out there not getting a renewal towards the last episode or 2 !

Either way just glad theres the TV spin off movies coming in every few months from both shows... also SG universe of course

Was Atlantis going anywhere? If they catch up with Michael then who is left to fight?

Replicators have gone, Wraith are in civil war and dying out. There is nothing left.

Thats actually very true Atlantis does appear to be rounding things up quite fast, I dont wanna spoil the last ep or 2 but it does look like its concluding and fast gives them plenty of episodes to I guess in the future too tie up loose ends I saw the promo for the next episode and they got Daniel Jackon coming in... so all well, glad they get the cross overs while they still alive !

I thought Carter did well on Atlantis but didn't like her "new" type charactor it was dumbed down and she was less scientific/smart carter... no rivalry between mkay she was more leadership role then anything and it didnt quite make sense to all of a sudden make her blonde after 10 years...

Either way its not bad just sad too see it concluding so soon in its prime.

What they need is to discover a brand new type of baddie out of the blue, one who absolutely kicks their ass and makes all their existing allies look a bit weak.

Sounds a little like Star Trek Voyager in the Stargate world. Should be good. Ill be keeping an eye on this, im a bit hungry for some new Tv.
