Stars changing colour?

Off topic, we are going so far off topic you cant actually see it...

We better be careful, or someone will report us as spam and Burnsy will get on it :p

Dyslexia is a wonderful thing... plus my spellchecker is broken...

Dunno but this feels close to a personal attack... could be wrong!

Oh man up and take it in the spirit in which it's meant.

And thanks for the sensible (I forgot my physics GCSE and A levels!) answers.
Will still get the old telescope out tomorrow for a decent look.

And there was me thinking stars were just white things in the sky !

Sorry its the only thing I'm really touch about!!.. all to do with the 'Era' I was at school when Dyslexia was just 'Your Thick Boy!!' :D:D

My heads full or random trivial crap... its just my fingers struggle to get it down!...

But (back on topic) its deffo 'Atmospheric Effects' different densities of air causing the light from the star to 'Twinkle'.. plus now theres tonnes and tonnes of Crap and polutants up there its sort of amplified!! :)

Do you not use Firefox Simian, the spell checker is grand.

Yeah.. 3.0.7 (3.0.8 is downloading).. but the Spellchecker doesn't seem to be working... I get no 'Wiggly Red Underlines' telling me my spelling is crap!.. :(

It could also be light reflected off another planet too...
Not just a star :)

Could be Mars, that dows have a Redish glow, but it dosen't usualy go from Blue to White!...

Not just a star :)

The ablity to see a planet which isnt very close to the earth and are sun is next to impossible in the uk due to air pollution and light polution... also the colour wont change due to the surface of the planet giving out a constant wave lengh of colour.

In built spell checkers make me weep. It's not that hard...:/
That's a pretty lame thing to be weeping about :p

Besides, if he's dyslexic then I'm guessing it is pretty hard... that's kinda the whole point of dyslexia :p

Back on topic.... can planets change colour in the sky? Can they appear to flicker just like stars as well?

I seem to think they can, just like stars do but my mate thinks I'm a fool for thinking this...

Yep I struggle to read on a screen, I usually have to go for 'Hard Copy' at work.. Printed words on a Page make it easier!... but the words still 'Dance' around the page!.. :)

I know.. Its a Weather Baloon with a Disco Light attached to it!!...

There you go... /Thread

Aye, my boss and my best mate are both the same funnily enough.

We tried to go 'Paperless' in our office (EcoMentalists!!).. but I used the excuse that were a 'Draughting Office' and 'Check Prints' were required by our Procedures Manual.. I breathed a sigh of relief after they backed down!... :D
