Start my RAF Basic Training Tomorrow.

Just thought Id make a little thread to tell yas that I get the coach down from Newcastle tomorrow to Halton to start my RAF Basic.

I doubt anyone will notice any change without me, but it would be nice to get some good luck messages!

As long as everything goes to plan I will become an Aircraft Maintainance Mechanic (Avionics)

Ill no doubt return to the forums when I get an oppurtunity, Ill keep you all up to date on my progress!

It hasnt quite sunk in that Ill be leaving my family behind, and Ill miss my nephew like hell, but I need direction in my life and I think the RAF is for me

You must be so excited!!! I tried (unsuccessfully) to get into their officer stream for pilot training several years ago. Aced all the tests but unfortunately they said i was too much of a nice guy in the interview! Gutted!!!
