Stealing from Hotels

Consumables is fair play, as they're only going to chuck your half used soap and shampoo when you leave.

Anything more than that is ***** theft.

Yup, cannot remember ever staying in a hotel with a standard television. They all seem custom hotel-style ones. Even the branded stuff.

Curiously, I thought this, but the PTI in Heathrow uses standard Samsungs. I was even able to plug my laptop etc into it.

Same I think as the hotel in Wookey Hole.

The little sewing kit. I'll frisk a room until I find it and I'll be dissapointed if I can't. Still, do you think I can find one when I break a button off a shirt...?

Can't believe how tight some people are! If you can afford to stay in a hotel and not your car, you can darn well afford a towel or batteries. We live in different times now...

The most I've ever taken from a hotel was the tea and coffee they put out for you. I added boiling water to them and sneaked them out in my stomach.

I replaced the TV once, it was a flat screen samsung.

My one at home was faulty, so I noticed it was the exact same one as i was staying in at this hotel, so i called up my ex GF she brought it over all boxed up and i did a quick direct swap.

Job done!!!

LOL Pure quality!!! :D

Quite a few of the nice hotels I've stayed in lately have a card on the desk saying "Everything in this room is for sale, a price list is in the welcome folder. Please feel free to take anything you would like with you when you leave and we will charge your credit card appropriately".

Very clever solution to the hotel kleptos I thought..

Which hotel was it?
What size TV was it?
When did this happen?

This fully sounds like BS to me.

Same with the last place I stayed as well. TV and the like was all Bang & Olufsen gear - remote for the TV was £400 iirc.

dont they change the loo roll for each customer anyway? so taking it isnt really stealing

what cheap ass hotel do you stay at?!?!?

I take the shampoo, showergel and other stuff they put out in the toliet but not towels etc as that's stealing
