Not in the slightest bit accurate, I am pretty sure I have spent barely £200 in the last few years on steam games. Most of my collection is bundle stuff / freebies.

This account is worth £1425.64. If all games were bought on sale, it would be £520.32

I'm happy with that, been on steam 9 years and not spent that much,80% of my games have been on sale anyway.

i've calculated what i've actually spent and it's about £107. when you consider i spent 20 quid on half life 2, 20 quid on episode one and 30 quid on portal 2, that means i've spent just £37 on steam itself. :p

and steam hasn't been updating the time i've spent playing games properly at all. i have no idea what's wrong with but my totals for my most played games haven't budged at all in months.

I think Race 07 expansions are counted in the unplayed stuff.

That was way less than i thought it was going to be :)

As with everyone else, I haven't actually spent this much (but I have spent around £400 on games in the last 12 months :().

I would rather not know to be honest. Too much spent on games i don't play and probably too many hours that i should be putting in elsewhere in my life. At least work manages to pull me away from gaming!

Its a shame/good that the time played on games doesn't go back to the creation of the account or those hours spent would easily be double I'd think but not all of its playing of course, server idling/leaving the game logged in.

:D

It just shows what a great business model it is. I have several games I have never played but they were peanuts acquisitions. Not having a go at anyone but there's some crazy money wastage here -i'm too tight anything that costs more than peanuts gets played. When buying is so easy the temptation is too much, it's just shopping really or collecting that quick quick endorphin rush of owning something new.

STEAM must be ****ing themselves 'we're selling people games they don't even want to play'.

And we wonder why game prices are so high, it's because collectively gamers will buy anything at any price even games they will never even play.

Of course many wasted games will be in sales which are very tempting people love the buzz of a bargain.

hah so many idiots, why on earth do you get stuff you don't play

Got three I haven't played Planetary Annihilation, which I got for free and waiting for official release before playing it(can't wait). Also fallout2 and commandos3 which refuse to run on modern systems. but they were like 60p each or something, still annoyed steam don't mod them like other sale sites.

All my games I haven't played were either free gifts from Steam/Friends or from humble bundle when I've wanted one game and the $1 has been worth that one game.

Not bad at all. Limit yourself in sales to games that you will definitely play. Most of my non played games are the rubbish that comes in the humble bundles.
