Steam controller 90%off

I ordered 2 that have been cancelled and refunded.

My old one got a damaged trigger but still had 1 month left of the 2 year warranty so sent it in for a replacement; waiting to get confirmation that it was sent out (old one got there 5 days before the sale started), bad stock management if its not and they've sold one at £4 and have to refund me at full price. If they thought it through they should have kept some back to use for replacements over the next nearly 2 years.
So they are not repairing your controller? I was wondering how they'll handle warranty claims from now on.

It was on sale regularly though never at £4.
Steam were selling off their remaining stock of the controller dirt cheap as it is now out of production.

I've used a G502 as my main mouse for 4 years and it's still going strong so I hope you get on with it.
A man can't have too many buttons.:D

Will keep an eye out for future offers on the steam controller

re g502, have had it since yesterday and, so far, I really like it - very smooth. I needed to dl the logitech game software to change button settings etc... but, so far, so good.

They not making any more Steam controllers. They also sadly noted that in the E-mail when you got a refund when they sold too many. Would need to be second hand or something.

They probably are.

Not talking about a controller that may or may not come about from patents filed years ago (plenty of companies do that). Talking about the controller that was on sale and sold out leading to a bunch of refunds and apology E-mail to plenty of people including myself. Valve mentioned they are the last batch: https://www.theverge.com/good-deals...alve-steam-controller-discontinued-sale-price

For several days, you could buy the Steam Controller for just $5 plus shipping ($13 total for me), and Valve confirmed to The Verge that it was the last batch of these gamepads that will ever be made.

They’re now completely out of stock. The last piece of Valve’s failed Steam Machines initiative is now truly dead, and it’s time for this gamepad’s obituary.

So yeah, no more steam controllers that this thread is about are being made.
