Can't get any controller to work 1 Xbox one first gen, 1 pc wireless Xbox one controller and 1 ps4 controller.
How are you folks getting them recognised?

I just connected mine with bluetooth to the android tablet then went onto steam link

The first gen xbox controllers are IR so won't work It's the one s controllers that have any chance as they are both

Yup, its annoying because i owned 3 of those first gen ones and had to get another to use wirelessly on my proper Steam link

Cheers for that I found a redit post that basically says if the Xbox button is flush with casing it's got Bluetooth if button is flush with the bumper buttons it's not, so I've got an Amazon order coming tomorrow.

If you buy an Xbox pad now off the shelf, ie the latest version it will be Bluetooth. Wether your Android device will support it or not seems to be a lottery as I have one device that does support it and works with Android Steam Link. And another Android device that does not work with the same pad at all.

I've not gone with an Xbox roadway too pricey for it to not be used, just got a cheapish android Bluetooth one. Here's hoping it works
