Steam now available for iOS & Android

It does. I expect it to come into it's own during the sales when i'm not at home, I find it a bit clunky to order things on iOS Safari. Sometimes the payment won't go through, either.
 
Nice touch from Valve. If they can integrate a way to start downloading a game on your gaming PC once you've purchased on your phone that would be really nice. I imagine they will start selling mobile games at some point.

Would be excellent for a remote downloader. Although for games on the mobile platforms, I very much doubt it. Apple as well as Android based phones won't want any external sales in the gaming domain.

Would Valve actually need approval from the likes of Apple to produce software that does allow it though? I don't own a smartphone so don't know how it works.
 
Sorry, that was bad wording on my behalf, what I meant was that they would go nuts if STEAM started distributing mobile games in the form of apps.
