Steam sale now .... Off

I bought Sw Jedi survivor for £12 thinking it was the sale. Cant see going lower than that right when the sale is properly on?

I need to get the Deluxe upgrade for Star Wars but it's never been cheaper than £20 which is ridiculous for the four costumes or so that you get.

Have they actually forgotten to put the discounts on? Like they have on the front Spider-Man 2 £49.99, is that a discounted price?? Blue Prince £24.99 that's its standard price.

Edit: Ok seems there was actually a delay as now I'm seeing the strikeout prices, Spider-Man 2 £39.99 etc.

Are you not familiar with Steam Summer/Winter/Autumn/Spring sales? The site effectively crashes while the server can't handle the volume of people while they are updating the prices for the first 12 hours of the sale.

No not really, I don't think I've ever been online when one goes live right away and generally buy games elsewhere, despite having a 21 years of service badge lol.

Yea it's annoying, you'd think after all these years they'd have the server back ups in place. I suppose that's the thing about having a monopoly. More power to the key resellers IMO

Black mesa and crash bandicoot for me too but struggling to browse and checkout beyond the homepage right now, so that’s probably on a cache and servers are a bit busy…
