Steam streaming?

I had no luck and that's on a wired connection struggled to stream a lego game, gave up in the end and sold the Steam link. Glad it does work for some though as the idea behind it is great. I was gutted as I have a high end router too ! I only assumed it maybe didn't work for me as whilst wired it went through powerline adapters

I use Moonlight on my Amazon Firestick, works quite well if you're only playing Singleplayer games, there's a bit of a delay but that's mostly cause of the wifi.

In terms of wired connections, would it be worth setting up homeplugs for the PC you're streaming too? Should be better than wireless if you get the right plugs.

What I will say is that if you are using wireless for a portion of the connection from your PC to the Steam Link, get yourself Acrylic Wifi to help you adjust the antenna for the best possible signal.

Placement and positioning of my TPLink dongle varies my signal anywhere from solid -25 to -38dB from the Router which makes a massive difference to streaming.

Back on offer on the Steam website, so picked up the Steam Link and the Steam Controller. Will let you know how I get on.
