I love Rogue Legacy. Few games get me to laugh out loud, but this has on a handful of occasions. Gameplay wise it's like a roguelike castlevania and is the best snes game never released on the snes. It's rock hard, though, and I'm rubbish at it!
 
isn't it quaint that each team is winning a day... 5 team, 10 days, 2 days each?

also I dont get it, the distance between the scores is crazy.

19th - PURPLE - Thursday
20th - RED - Friday
21st - GREEN - Saturday
22nd - PINK - Sunday
23rd - BLUE - Monday
24th - PURPLE - Tuesday
25th - RED - Wednesday
26th - GREEN - Thursday
27th - PINK - Friday
28th - BLUE - Saturday"

The community at large are making sure it's fair on everyone by giving each team 2 wins. Hence such a big difference in the scores.

I couldn't help thinking the same, blue team have done terrible every day, pretty much last and then within an hour they were ridiculously far ahead.

Seems a bit suspect to me.

I saw this so crafted up on Saturday. We won the day, but I wasn't one of the lucky 30.
 
Really the optimal thing to do in terms of the cards (if you want to get a few levels of the summer badge etc) is to craft at least 1 of any badge per day... That way you get either 1 or 2 bonus cards each day (depending on if it's your team's turn to win or not)

What I find funny about the whole thing is that the community have banded together to force the result of the competition each day - but if the reason for doing that is partly for fairness and to stop people wasting a lot of time + effort in actually trying to compete against the other teams- why continue to boost the score of the days designated winning team to such crazy levels? Surely it would make more sense to get that day's winner a good 100k or so points ahead of the other teams and then everyone just stop (or slowdown) and only pick up again if the scores get too close to equalising

Yeah, I was thinking of trying again but with my son this time, though maybe give it another year or so (he's 4.5). Probably would be fun co-op with him.
 
Tempted to get Outlast before it expires. I struggle to play horror games but I still really want to play them for some reason. This is generally how it goes when I try :p

Also, picked up Shadowrun Returns in the sale. What a great game that is turning out to be!
 
Just realised it was December 2012 since I last bought something in a Steam sale!

Purchased the 'Can't Stop Laughing Bundle' and have a few more in my to watch list!

Tempted by Nether but after reading some of the comments on this thread I'm not so sure now.

Seems like they are completely overloaded, Just checked my email it has 10 emails from me trying to verify my account last night, Also last night it wouldn't link the account to steam.

Haven't tried it since this morning where it decided to hang on the server screen on both laptop & desktop.

Give it time I'd say.
