Steam Summer sale - 19-30th June

Yeah spotted that myself, Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition costs -£5.01 due to it being 125% off lol.

Anyone without the game able to redeem a free copy? I already own it so can't try.

Won't let me buy/add to cart :(

<edit> Oop, they've fixed the price for the regular edition - 75% off (£3.74)

Starting to see a lot of repeats now.
Terraria i noticed was in the daily, 48 hours to buy, yet it's in the voters choice next.

Maybe the sale is dying down now?

How are:
Mars: war logs
How to survive?

As I don't really have time for much of any gaming, I may never get to touch them, but my 'gaming' now comes in the form of simply buying games.

Yeah I've noticed this as well, Bioshock Infinite is in the Daily Deals again, and Metal Slug 3 is back in the Flash deals for the 2nd time.
Bloody stick Assetto Corsa in there at more than 30% off and I'm having it :D

What's with this points and flag system? I just joined (a little late to the game I know), I'm on the green team. Is it even or fair? What are the chances of the green team winning again?

There seems to be a concerted effort to get certain teams to win on certain days. I think the Green team are scheduled today.

To be honest the odds of getting a prize if you're on the winning team are miniscule, so unless you're interested in the bonus cards you may as well ignore it.

There was a concerted effort to have each team win exactly twice and it would have been Green today I think... however after the 5th day Valve tweaked it so that the 1st, 2nd and 3rd teams will now have a ridiculously tiny chance of winning (instead of just the 1st) and by the virtue of human nature the Red team have decided to completely screw up that plan...

All meaningless really, though an interesting portrayal of how quickly people will turn on each other when they think they can get a reward

Ask yourself if you're likely to have played it by the Winter sale, by which time it could be cheaper yet. ..

That's what I do. Sometimes I'm even successful :p

This is good advice, although games do tend to "bottom out" at some stage, usually around the ~£3 - 4 mark unless they were sub-£10 Indie titles to begin with...

Yeah I'm currently leaning towards that since I absolutely have enough to keep me going till the winter sale. By then it should be £5 which is what I was hoping to get it for.
