Steam Summer sale - 19-30th June

How are the Resi Evil games? I have 5 which I quite enjoyed.

6 is a different animal to the rest, it's a shame it wasn't a spin off like Op Racoon City because it would have done well then, because the gameplay is fantastic. It just isn't Resident Evil though. Well worth a buy for cheap, I paid I think a fiver from GMG and gotten a lot of value out of it. Leon's campaign is very, very good, closer to what Resi should be than Revelations is (although that's close too) and Wesker's campaign is balls to the wall from start to finish, which is a ton of fun, that dude cannot be human.

I managed to hold off buying anything in this sale so far, but just gave in -

Resi Evil 4
Resi Evil Revelations
Assassins Creed Brotherhood
Assassins Creed Revelations
Assassins Creed 2
Assassins Creed 3

£30

I already have RE5, I thought it was decent. I took the advice above and also read some reviews and didn't bother buying RE6. I will play through 4 again because it's been years, and that was one of my favourite games ever when it was released.

I've got the first Assassins Creed, never played any of them though. I should have a lot more free time over the next month or two, plus I've just upgraded my cpu and mobo so I'll be looking to try out some games. Talk about trying to justify my ever growing/untouched steam library... :p

Looks like the repeats won the community vote again. Not like rogue crafting thing stood a chance anyway. Steam needs to stop putting up 1 sided battle against another genre.

First post here :)

Is Bioshock triple pack worth the purchase?
1, 2 & Infinite

I wanna play only infinite, but 1 & 2 have raving reviews!

Yeah, definitely worth the money. I would highly recommend doing 1 and 2 before Infinite. Can't really say any reasons for spoilers, but if you want the full experience do the first two games :)

Assassins Creed III or/and Liberation HD worth getting, especially if not played any of the previous Assassin's Creed games ?

I have just played through Brotherhood for the first time and it's great fun - so that might be a cheaper option if you're looking for somewhere to start. I think the order is AC2-Brotherhood-Revelations-AC3-Liberation HD.

Woah, Ikaruga?! Not sure why they would re-release an obscure Japanese arcade vertical shooter from 2001 on Windows, but if anyone wants an obscenely hard challenge I can't recommend it enough. Had it on the dreamcast!

And once again I'm forced to buy the GOTY edition of a game (Dishonored) that I already own because it works out cheaper than buying the DLC individually...

I know it's better value, I know it makes sense on paper, but I still feel like I'm somehow wasting money due to effectively buying a second copy of the main game that can't be traded or used

Good grief! When did that happen?

I played Ikaruga on an actual arcade machine, was hard as hell. Proper arcade gaming :D
