Steam Summer Sale 2011

I know all this, had been a tester in the closed beta and played TDU before.

Handling and bugs are the only thing that worry me really but I'll give it a go for a fiver :)

I hope you like it :) In its own right it is reasonable but I just think it pales next to TDU 1, both in playability and location - ie. Hawaii is much prettier and more interesting to drive around than Ibiza is.

(Oh and arguably the car graphics are better in TDU 1)

I am interested in MOH but can anyone confirm whether you have to unlock the MP weapons? I want to have a play with everything but cba to play for hours and hours to unlock stuff first.

Yes you do have to unlock weapons by ranking up. But the early weapons are perfectly good enough, the later ones are only slightly better. It isn't like COD where newbies are crippled by not having the good perks etc. MoH doesn't have perks so everyone is equal from the outset apart from guns.

But TDU 2 features both Ibiza and Hawaii, doesn't it?

Plus you get the online Casino where I spent considerable time during beta :D

Yes although you don't get access to Hawaii until later - I haven't done yet. I can't see the point in driving Hawaii on TDU 2 when I can drive it on TDU 1 with better graphics and handling anyway.

I don't think you will get the casino unless you pay extra though.

How do you know TDU1 has better Hawaii graphics if you've not played it on TDU2? Besides, it's quick enough to get to level 10 to unlock Hawaii. :p

Does it play like BFBC2 and is it quicker to find people than on BFBC2 where you run around for ages before finding somebody? I never really liked BC2.

It isn't hard to find enemies at all. It is SIMILAR to BC2 although more hardcore, it isn't a good game for casual players I would say. If you are a casual player you will probably die a lot and might get disheartened. It uses the BC2 engine but doesn't have destructible environments.
