Hopefully it will start tomorrow, would be nice timing all the newbies joining for free tf2 then hit them with some nice deals.

Whilst I don't see the sales starting for another week or so, I can certainly see the motive for making TF2 FTP being linked with the summer sale. The move will no doubt have gained them tonnes of new customers to advertise the sales to.

I got it just for a second as the page loaded, since I was hovering over the tag. Then it disappeared

Today makes sense - half the planet has had time to hear that TF2 has gone free and has downloaded it at this stage. Now would be an ideal time to get all those new users to buy a few cheap games

Well someone on the first page challenged us to get it to 100 pages before the sale. So we shall see how it goes

This sale I'm going to try and behave myself, went a bit mental last time and have still got 30+ games I've not even installed from the xmas sale.

The low prices are hard to resist though!
