Steam Summer Sale 2017 - 22nd June

Loved Wolf Among Us so much. I own the borderlands one but have yet to play it

Definitely play Tales From The Borderlands - Each episode is about 2 hours and they’re fantastic!

Really hope there’s a sequel!

Been tempted at buying Wolf Among Us myself to be honest!

Just seen American Truck Simulator on sale too - kind of tempted to try it :D :p

Another recommendation from me: FTL - It’s like less than £2.00 I think! Sooo much replay ability, and a great challenge!

ive had that game on my account for years and never once even thought about installing it. another one i have is spaz that everyone seems to rave about:confused:

I picked up Shardlight from Steam sales. I love pnc games. It was actually the first game I have bought from Steam in 1650 games. I would say avoid Mafia 3, imo the worst game I have ever played. Graphically abysmal and the rest everyone knows. It took me 15 years on Steam to actually buy a game haha. Keysites take all my money normally.

Just bought Sleeping Dogs. Can't go wrong for £4...I'm not sure what to expect from it, although I've been told it's good.

Can anyone recommend some casual games in the Steam Summer Sale that are fun and relaxing to play?

Something with a bit of a challenge or puzzle element is fine, but nothing too stressful or brain melting. Focus is on relaxing and the sort of game that you can dip in and out of without having to commit large periods of play to.

Preferably no micro transactions, which tend to be the blight of casual games.

Bought this for £20, was lucky enough to trade some Summer Steam trading cards for a 25% off coupon. To be honest, these fighting sort of games really ain't my sort of thing, but I wanted it for the story and plot. :p

Looking at getting Muv-Luv and Clannad which are about £10-13 each and there is Megadimension Neptuina VII for £10 too but Dal Segno comes out in a few days! That be a other £20-25 game. :o

Normal game wise, I had my eyes set on Osiris: New Dawn for a long time, but reading the current reviews and topics in the community is really putting me off on it. There is also Empyrion - Galatic Survival for £7 which is really good, nothing but positives about that game, but I don't feel like I really need it now, bought Ark before the sale when it was on a weekly sale.

There is P.A.M.E.L.A on sale for £13 which has turned out to be Sci-Fi Dying Light but in a underground city with zombies. :/ The trailer made it look so good too.

Life is Strange: Before the Storm comes out in 2 months and Wolfenstein 2 comes out in October too.

Can't believe Friday the 13th isn't in the sale, after watching people play it and talking to people about it while they played, it seems the agreement that the game isn't worth the £30 price tag, but it's more of a £15-20 game which I think is fair, the player pop seems to be dying too now. :/

Life is Strange is good, relaxing, no stress in that game.

Subnautica is good, some people think they get scared by it, but it's just fishes in the water.

So far Darkest Dungeon is my only purchase and it's absolutely brilliant. The graphics are superb and the voice acting second to none, totally recommend it.

I got myself a steam link to try. Plus bought a couple of cheap games, one being golf with friends. Haven't had internet since Friday though so haven't been able to download any of them yet.
