Steam Summer Sale

Get it. You'll get more than 5 hours out of it... for £5, you can't go wrong.

If you want to be super-stealthy sneaky type, you can be, knocking guards out and hiding them, creeping around, disarming alarms and traps, taking out targets using non-lethal methods, bribery, blackmail, extortion...

Or you can go on a brutal murder-fest, upgrade your pistol and crossbow to be mega-powerful, hack stab and slash your way through the enemies, pile up the corpses and watch the city turn blacker and more plague-ridden as you do so....

Or combine a bit of both :)

Purchased :) Hopefully I'll get around to playing this one unlike the games I bought last summer :o

New news:

Awesome, Batman is back on sale!

Nope. There's a way you can see the 'value' of your Steam account per se, but it counts the value of each game as it's full retail price... so it's not a very accurate tool.

How do you pay for your games? If it's all been done quite recently you can just check through your bank / paypal statements?

I've got a badge for having had Steam for 9 years. I've no idea what I've spent, and I don't care :p :D

All paid for on my card, will check my statement and see but I reckon I've spent about 2 quid average per game so I can't complain! :D

I'm tempted by Dishonoured, is it a good game and not one that can be completed in 5 hours?

I've got 24hrs logged and I didn't even beat the campaign. I was going the all stealth route. Stopped due to a move. Bought the DLC earlier in the week so I will be picking it back up in the next few months.

It's a fantastic game at any price and £5 is ridiculously good if you like stealth action and cool original environments.

I only made a STEAM account 3 weeks ago, and prior to that, I think I've only purchased 1-2 PC games in the past 7-8 years. I only actually made the account because someone pointed out in the SF4 thread that AE was available for 3 quid. My library now sits at 28 games. Any way to check how much I've spent? :o

There is a way to see how much, install the Enhanced Steam browser extension:

http://www.enhancedsteam.com/

After installing the extension set the options (in chrome you can change the display from $ to £) then visit your account page on the Steam website (in your browser).

You'll get something like this:

I have had a Steam account for over 4 years now but this sale is the first time I've actually bought anything.

Today's Daily Deals include:

Grand Theft Auto IV 75% off
Dead Island Series 50 - 75% off
Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition 75% off
Fallen Enchantress Series 66 - 75% off
Tropico 4: Steam Special Edition 80% off
Batman Arkham City GOTY 75% off
Ace of Spades 75% off
Mount & Blade: With Fire & Sword 75% off
Evoland 50% off
Deus Ex: Human Revolution 85% off

Tempted by Dead Island, did they ever get the game up to scratch? I heard it was super buggy (original that is, as it's a franchise sale).

Don't question it, just buy Dark Souls :p.

GTA deals have been terrible this time around. I remember being annoyed because I paid about 11 quid for the complete GTA collection when it went down to about a fiver later on (it was my first sale, leave me be!). GTA IV complete is more expensive than I've seen the complete pack.

Might be the price glitch after a new 8 hour sale begins, but I see Strike Suit Zero cheaper now than in the community vote if it wins in just under 8 hours time!

Strike Suit Zero.

Vote for a possible 66% off £5.10

Or just click on it and buy it right now at 75% off £3.74
