Steam Summer Sale

I guess it depends if you value steam achievements and the ability to collect the cards/badge, and maybe on whether you dislike capsule. I'm not sure I'd pay for something a second time, then again I guess its a very small amount of money.

I havent played Bastion yet, just bought it and installed.

As for the achievements/badges, normally I was an achievement hunter on XBOX but not on PC and Ill probably just sell on the cards.

Capsule doesnt seem that bad, it just annoys me not being able to launch Bastion from an .exe file but instead having to run capsule first :o

Oh and that small money could probably get me another cheap indie games :p

So far purchased:

Saints Row 3rd (even though last week i forgot I downloaded it for free on PS+ DOH !!)
Batman Arkham City (yet to complete Arkham Asylum yet)

I really shouldn't buy any more as I rarely get time to play any more

Interested in getting an Assasins Creed game or two. Which ones are the best and/or worth picking up at current prices?

The first AC was interesting.

Ac2 and Brotherhood were the peak, the third iteration of Ac2 kind of phoned it in.

If I could play o e it would be Brotherhood.

Dark Souls...

I've heard it is very challenging, but rewarding because of that... On a scale of 1-10 ten being worst, how frustrating and difficult is it really. Gameplay vids look interesting.

It's obviously hard at the start due to being unfamiliar with the combat, but once you get into the swing of things, is really not that hard and it even becomes really fun as you can experiment with different ways to approach a situation, from miracles, spells, sword and shield, and more. So i'd say at the beginning it's a 8/10 on difficulty, but once you become accustomed with the vast arrays to approach a situation, it becomes a 4/10, but don't worry, the game is still hard :p

I personally didn't find it frustrating at all, but I like challenging games. Dark Souls is never unfair, it's just difficult. If you can handle that, you're in for one of the best and rewarding gaming experiences you can ever have.

Depends. Honestly I'd give it around an 8. It's much easier and much less frustrating than the higher difficulty setting in games like CoD. Just make sure you don't run in gung-ho and don't get carried away with attacking constantly and you should be fine. Also, don't give up if you die a few times in an area, keep going, making sure you learn something new about the area each time like enemy positions and numbers etc. Also, don't play it with M&KB whatever you do :p.
