To be fair, I'm a bit tired of Bastion being on sale all the time
Nothing against the game, working through it at the moment and it has one of the best music scores and story in a long while.

Nothing against the game, working through it at the moment and it has one of the best music scores and story in a long while.
Same here, no idea when I'll have time to play them all... Plenty of choice when I do have time though lol.
I've looked at Bastion and don't see the appeal, what am I missing?

Haven't bought anything the last few days... fingers crossed for some good deals today
Started playing Kerbal Space Program last night
What a great little game, I highly recommend it if it goes up on sale for ~£10 again... It's the kind of game that takes a fair amount of learning and the time just flies, I feel like I've learnt a lot about rocketry + space exploration too, the game's creators must have either done a lot of research or have a background in it.

I've caved and bought Bastion as well after seeing so many on here recommend it now and in previous sales.
Pity I'm in the middle of moving so all my machines are packed up in boxes. Only had a chance to put in a few hours on Resident evil 6 before I had to box up the last machine capable of playing anything, still will have plenty to look forward to getting into once moved and gaming rig is up and running again.

Bastion is a great game with a great soundtrack - it is not a "classic" by any means, but it is very enjoyable as ARPGs go.

It's a really refreshing change from almost anything out at the moment. The overarching narrative is really cool, it's been attempted before but here I think the execution is almost flawless. The combat though simple is pretty engaging and for an indie game it's got some nice variation, the builds play quite differently. Though the art style may not be for everyone (I like it personally) I don't think it would stop anyone enjoying the game. The soundtrack is very nice too.
Not sure why it's got such a low metascore???
Annoyingly, it doesn't work with 5.1 which will probably never get fixed so it only played through stereo.
Anyway, in terms of the game, it's AMAZING!
