So what's the problem if you're getting them cheap elsewhere :confused:

All of the last few steam sales have been beaten on price at other sites, whilst still offering steam keys. I've bought far to many games over the last few years of sales, and ended up getting nothing directly from steam.

It'll just be more repeats of the same games at prices that are better elsewhere, and yet the fans shout as if the steam sales are the "be all and end all".

If the steam sales lead to competitive pricing from other retailers, then I for one cannot complain.

From memory its always 6pm in the UK isn't it? Most forums seem to have a "OMG WHEN WILL THE STEAM SALE START" at the top. Kinda sad really. Still it has become pretty much the only time of year I buy games now.

and anything else really that looks half decent.

Mod mods mods! Seriously i have played all ES and fallout games atleast 5 time to death! i thought i was bored then i found mods and im playing new vegas and skyrim again! :) they are so good

I still have not finished Ac3 really not enjoying it but i loved the first and second one!

Have you managed to unlock any trading cards in any games other than getting this one yet? I just noticed I have an FTL booster pack new in my inventory, I assume it's because I've unlocked the 4 drops for that game.

Does your mystery trading card have the option to unpack? (in which case you might find what card it is). Otherwise it might be a rare and therefore potentially valuable card I guess.
