Have set up a bunch of wishlist items so I know if the stuff I want goes on sale.

I've done this too but it doesn't half get on my nerves - I get an email alert whenever a game goes on sale but it's normally so long after it first happens that I've already noticed it of my own accord. I may have to look into disabling the alerts (I can still click onto my wishlist to see what's on offer)

In all seriousness I've bought just about everything I want (although somehow I always end up wanting more) from various other sales around the interweb in the last month waiting for the sale to start.

Making it a week later every year doesn't seem like the smartest move on Valve's part.

I've been doing the exact same thing.

My wish list has been tweaked, and I'm all ready for what goes on sale also.

Need for speed does, which is 6pm BST, however HL2 doesn't, it ends at 4pm pacific time (Midnight Thursday). Still you might be right.

Unless there's going to be lots of big discounts on games which you HAVE to buy for multiplayer function then I cant see what all the fuss is about not that I am condoning piracy.

If mortal kombat 9 is there i'll have that but that's about it, aren't really any must play pc games out there at the mo.

They've changed the end time for HL2 then, Thursday looking very likely.
