Steam Summer Sale

25th July - Official*

Who cares, when it starts it's starts, just a few more days before wallet-abuse occurs.

* According to the Halfmad-fartometer forcast.

Have set up a bunch of wishlist items so I know if the stuff I want goes on sale.

I've done this too but it doesn't half get on my nerves - I get an email alert whenever a game goes on sale but it's normally so long after it first happens that I've already noticed it of my own accord. I may have to look into disabling the alerts (I can still click onto my wishlist to see what's on offer)

OMG, I've been away for a while and just noticed this little thread I started about 3 months ago has 14 pages lol... you lot are sad :P

When does everyone start panicking that it's not happening this year. AT ALL. :-O

In all seriousness I've bought just about everything I want (although somehow I always end up wanting more) from various other sales around the interweb in the last month waiting for the sale to start.

Making it a week later every year doesn't seem like the smartest move on Valve's part.

It's probably this Thursday but I'm not bothered or frenzied anymore lol

Have set up a bunch of wishlist items so I know if the stuff I want goes on sale.

I've been doing the exact same thing.

My wish list has been tweaked, and I'm all ready for what goes on sale also.

Unless there's going to be lots of big discounts on games which you HAVE to buy for multiplayer function then I cant see what all the fuss is about not that I am condoning piracy.:o

If mortal kombat 9 is there i'll have that but that's about it, aren't really any must play pc games out there at the mo.
