Steam Summer Sale

I shall be checking but not buying. Already have too many games from 2-3 years ago that i've not even touched yet. :(

We all say that at first. Then they lure us in with 75% off flash deals.

And then before we know it our wallets are waking up naked and bruised in the middle of a ditch, wondering what the hell just happened.

Haha true. :D

The thing is i've lived through nearly all of these sales since they've had them and over the last 2 or so years it's been pretty much the exact same games from previous sales. I honestly sticking to my guns and not buying anything till i've played and finished most of the games on my current Steam list.

sweet jesus is it that time again

moneys pretty tight but steam always find a way to make me part with it

I've only ever bought games during the steam sales (or when another site has an offer on, GMG etc) must be nearing about 400 games in my collection..I reckon ive played about 15-20% at best

...Yet I'll still end up buying another stash in this sale :o, my reasoning is if i buy all the games I want when they are on offer...each sale should get progressively cheaper :p

To be honest though the xmas deals were awful (imo). So will be interesting to see what offers they do put up.

I will still most likely buy at least one game as I always seem to do.

Only thing I'm looking for is Borderlands 2 which I should be able to get for 3.74 through the 4-pack. Might pick up Last Light too depending on the price.

I gotta admit, I'm not overly bothered by the sale this year, most games I wanted I now have, I might pick up last light also if cheap but no worries if it's not, I have tons of games to be getting on with.

Last Light and Bioshick Infinite.

My guess they will sell for £15 each. You can Already get good price on Bioshock Infinite at the Forest.

Infinite is half that at MM. Cant think of much that I want, doubtless there will be something though. Ive already got tons of games I havent played yet - sleeping dogs, FC3, Bioshock infinite, Blood Dragon, and here I am thinking about Kerbal and doubtless a whole bunch of other stuff. Damn you sales! the PC is so chock with cheap games at the mo.

Fallout new Vegas please, didn't like FO3, willing to give NV a go if its super cheap.
See if any indie games on alpha come up, there's a few I'm interested in.
But I don't buy games pointlessly, only have about a dozen games on steam and I've played them all.

Have most of the big games already, but will be looking out for cheap:

The Testament of Sherlock Holmes
STALKER: Call of Pripyat (for modding with Misery 2.0)
Metro: Last Light
