Steam Summer Sale

Just got Spec Ops: The Line, always been curious because everyone says it gets dark as **** in terms of storyline; not just your run-of-the-mill mindless patriotism simulator.

I got Spec Ops with Bioshock Infinite on the GMG deal... definitely enjoyed it and agree with what everyone says about it but I do feel like I would have gotten a lot more out of it had I gone into it thinking it was going to be a run-of-the-mill mindless FPS - so yeah try to approach it with that mindset if you possibly can

Just picked up The Swapper, System Shock 2 (still have never played this), Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing, Total War Shogun 2 and Might and Magic Heroes VI Gold :D

I've noticed when it comes to the community votes, loads vote for the bigger discount.

Wondered mind having a go at Monaco.

Has anyone on here completed the Summer Sale trading cards/Badge? What did they get?

Bought a few games with Tropico being one bought on a whim and its the only one I've played solidly for the last day or so. Funny how the one game I wasn't fussed about playing has me hooked. :)

Its not bad if you get a private server. Me and my mates play it for the Zombie experience not the PvP experience most play it for and have quite a laugh with it.

When I tried it you couldn't help the PvP, everyone was out to get you and the servers were full of spawn campers with their sniper rifles

Is it any better now then?

You don't really get anything much... a badge, some "Steam XP", a profile background, an emoticon, and another summer sale card (since you crafted a badge). That's it... Just like the game badges there are 5 levels to the summer sale badge so if you really wanted to you could collect 50 cards in total. The foil cards make up another set of 10 but only have 1 level and are of course much rarer...

Might just complete it once then just see how many cards I get normally after that. Keep getting the bioshock one recently.

One of the friends just sells ALL his trading cards on so he can buy the next game in the sale.
