It's like people will never learn, no matter what you do.

The absolute worst are the regulars who are very much aware of how the sales work, but for whatever reason they still decide to go against any sensible logic.

I'm not a regular to the Steam sales, but none the less it would have been logical to wait for even more of a reduction, given that the 50% off was for the duration of the sale. Any logic that I do have, isn't working too well in this heat.

Some people do take the pee waiting for a reduction though, like not wanting to buy a game on a flash/daily sale because it's 99p more than what they wanted it for.

That will be as low as it goes since it's on the Daily. It would most likely be 25% off otherwise (or something lower than 50).

Guys, what's your opinion about Age of Empires 2 HD? Are the graphics passable? Is it crashing or with bugs? Is multiplayer populated? I already have AoE 3 and i'm dissapointed about how empty the servers are...

What the bloody ****, d/l speed got to 8.7MB/s and now its stuck on 100KB/s on 85%....I didn't pay for fibre optic for this!

You can bring the standard version of AoE 2 to date, and yes, it works on the newer systems. The only reason to get the HD edition is if you want to play multiplayer or have it on Steam.

I can't comment on how active the servers are, though.

Their servers are probably getting absolutely hammered right now you may be better off waiting until after the sale to download large games (at least that's what I intend to do).
