Steam update

They just want to steal your internets :)

(Presume its something to do with big picture myself, or the steam wallet. One of the newer services)

got this earlier, the only new thing i can see is the chat messages under the envelope/notification bit to the top right. it has been in the overlay since the last update but it didnt do anything

- Notification popups now respond on the first click

- Clicking the dock icon now brings all Steam windows to the front
 
I wish they'd given the store game browser an overhaul, i.e. given it proper tabbed browsing and made it remember your place in a list if you press 'back'.
 
I've got an update too. Didn't appear when I clicked "Check for updates" from within Steam, but just restarted it and it's come up with a small white window that I've never seen it use before with a progress bar.

I agree Martini, again im sure they reintroduced this due to user stupidty after everyone complains their games "lag".
 
Nice to see the Mac client getting some desperately needed attention, that thing is an embarrassment, I hope the Linux client doesn't go the same way.
