Steam Xmas Sale 2018

I only bought one game, Assassins Creed: Odyssey. It's been a long time since I've had the chance to play a game for 8 hours non-stop but i literally had to pull myself away from the computer yesterday.

Probably played a bit too much as had dreams I had been kicking people off of cliffs.

Haha! Virtual people though, right?

I've been umming and ahhing about Odyssey for a while now. I think once I'm bored of WoW again I'll get it. Probably after RE2 has released and I've finished with it.

I bought Vampyr.
I've had my eyes on it for a while because it looks interesting. Kind of like a simplified version of Masquerade: Bloodlines which would be good because with work I don't have as much time nowadays to sink hundreds of hours into a game

Got NFS Shift, Prototype and Devil Daggers in my basket now. Go up to a tenner then that's it. Easily get my moneys worth with this lot.

Not a lot from Steam this Xmas:

Streets of Rogue (it just looks really silly and the reviews appear positive)
Duke Nukem (I missed this on GOG, so picked up the Steam copy)
Blood

There are other games I fancy but will stay on the wishlist as I am splitting budget (backlog) between GOG and Switch.

Just getting back into gaming as I needed to find something to fill my time to replace my bad path that i went down the last year or so so got myself a Vega 56 as my R9 290 died (I think) and need a game to get my teeth into, I have just under 2k hours on ARK: SE and CS:GO I would like an open world game sorta like ark but I am open to suggestions, I saw ATLAS but my friend I played ARK with said its nowhere near yet its best to wait...

Any suggestions will be amazing, thank you!

Only thing I got this sale was a 1yr iracing subscription for about £30. Had heard good things about VR performance and so far impressed but not likely to buy much content and would definitely not pay the standard £100 odd per year subscription!

Did'nt pick anything up either, still have a massive backlog of games to play from the years before including most of the Mass Effect games.

open world would be the new dayz engine. But I say that without knowing its a winner yet. Otherwise Arma 3 series or Squad which is built on the farcry engine I think

I'm pretty much finished swapping and completing the sale cards, but they all disappear in a few weeks so use them or lose them now.

I still havent finished destiny 2 and other games that have filled up the drive, if theres a must buy in this sale I missed it
