That CPU is REALLY going to struggle with some of the CPU bound games with a lot of physics. I would say no, that processor will not work at all.

Have tried this test 3 times
1. i7 4790k @ 4ghz + OCUK GTX970 stock = 6.9
2. i7 4790k @ 4ghz + OCUK GTX970 +230core, +450 mem = 7.1
3. i7 4790k @ 4.4ghz + OCUK GTX970 +230core, +450 mem = 7.6

Using Win 8.1

Does anyone know if Win10 would improve this? I know its not a perfect way to test but am curious.

Tried the missus' system too (she has Win10)
