Steelseries lost my mouse and refuses to replace it

Hammer them on Twitter or try and find the CEO's email on LinkedIn or something. You have proof of the delivery so nothing you have done your side :( Hope you get it resolved.

Was wondering whether anyone here has had any luck with Steelseries abysmal RMA process?

I sent a Sensei back to them a few months ago as a RMA due to a squeaky scroll wheel. Didn't think much of it until they sent me an automated email telling me they have not received the item and the RMA has now expired.

The item was sent using DPD so I checked the tracking history and it showed the parcel being delivered to the address they provided along with a signature. I tried starting tickets on their support page with the tracking info but they would just close them without any response.

So I am abit baffled on what else I could do? They have no contact numbers or emails and they just close all my RMA tickets. Checking their Facebook page, I could see that there are other people with the same issues.

So basically, Steelseries lost my mouse and claims they never received it even though tracking shows otherwise. Where can I go from here?

Post it on their Facebook with a link to this thread https://www.facebook.com/SteelSeries?fref=ts

You can always go down the bank route if paid on card. Get them to dispute the original payment for non-receipt of goods, they may require confirmation of your rma being delivered, but non-receipt fits in to one of the 4 categories banks can get the money back for you.

Ehtisham has an open profiles on LinkedIn - you can send him an email direct, this is likely your best course of action.

This.

When I had an issue with another computer company who where taking there time building my system and had took my money I used linkedin to contact there MD and it was sorted within a week.
I received an apology and compensation in the process, if your in the right. Your in the right and fight it.

Just thought id update this with a tidbit i recieved this morning when i put the initial rma application in wednesday last week.

Thank you for submitting your RMA! At this time we are putting a temporary hold on RMA approval until we are able to move our products from our old warehouse to our new warehouse. This process should take up to 2 weeks to complete. Once this is finished, we will review your case and make an approval at that time. Until then you may, or may not, receive another update about your RMA.

Please note - This process can take up to 2 weeks. We will try and make it as fast as possible to minimize the downtime for your ticket. If your ticket closes to inactivity, please feel free to open another.

Looks like the process is going to get worse for some, a week before response, another potential 2 week wait until the warehouse move is completed and finally who knows how long before approval / new device received =/ kinda thinking the bin is looking like a more viable option

Shocking, I'm looking for a keyboard and Steelseries are now off the list

Truth be told most of their products are actually really cool and perform well the build quality though atleast on specific batches seems to come back with a vengeance and bite them.

EG i have the MX800 from Steelseries, they upgraded me after my initial Apex(RAW) took a nosedive on me, and frankly i have nothing ill to say of this keyboard, the keys feel great the illumination is distinctive and good looking and the gamesense adds certainly a pleasent experience when in CS:GO or Dota 2

Price wise AVG £120-150 ...honestly i dont think id pay that for a keyboard, the gamesense is nice n all but at the end of the day it is a gimmick, response times and functionality its well up there with the other similarly priced keyboards from Razer/Corsair and Logitech respectively but aside from the lighting effects and i guess the custom switches i dont really see much of a difference between this and a more reasonably priced apex raw (£40?) as for durability...well horror stories circle around every brand of gaming peripherals SS is probably one of the biggest thats currently in the spotlights of the gaming doghouse, when their RMA staff are on point though, they do bend over backwards to retain your custom and they do deserve praise for that..but its just the horrid wait you spend without your gaming peripheral while you wait for the emails/replacement of your new device that really leaves some people feeling kicked in the teeth, its easy to be angry at support as a whole when a lot of the times the problems seem out of their control..and i guess due to the massive degree of automation that takes place during the RMA process its kinda hard to vent your frustrations on a bot that can only respond with automated soul destroying emails

i take it back, i hate the bot.

Gutted for you ! I've just sent off my Zowie to Portugal, thay have singed for it (as I've had it recorded) & I've heard nothing as to whether they have it, completed or sending a new one ? It's been 20 days since they have signed for it & aren't answering my emails !
:(

Much as I love Zowie their customer service is basically non existent. You literally get nothing back if you're unlucky like I was. Email a few of their address on their website and you'll get a response. Just don't go through the rma bit. Sorry you're having trouble.

PayPal dispute?

we have power to lean on Zowie sadly we can't lean on SS as they have no UK manager At the moment.
