Steep - Skiing, Snowboarding and that nutty flying with wings thingy game

I initially didn't like it....then found myself still playing it several hours later. I love that you can just jump around the mountain really quickly. Not sure how much longevity it will have, I'd rather have more of a story mode than just a set of challenges. Controls feel very slightly floaty to me too.
 
Looks good but the focus seems to be on "sharing cool stuff with your friends on social media".... Sorry but no. Does anyone really see themselves doing that?
 
So far, very very fun.

Trying to gain ground to unlock a new drop zone.. I see a lot of walking.

The snow deformation is nice as it "grows back" over time as snow lays.
 
I want to say upfront I've never really been into this sort of game but thought I'd have a go anyway and while it's fun I seriously doubt it's longevity.

I only played for about 30 mins but my impression is that it's trying to be an Snow Sports Forza Horizon so it that appeals to you I'm sure you'll love it.
 
Nearly managed a triple backflip.. Is it just one mountain area or can you visit all of them? I noticed a barrier around the bottom but only "segments" on the mountains.
 
I think you can visit 3 mountains in the beta. Then there are a few others (like switzerland) that you can walk into but it tells you you're at the end of the world at the moment.

I found an awesome halfpipe snowpark to the left most of the leftmost mountain. No spawn point though so it was some trekking to get there!
 
Just unlocked another. How do you earn credits? I have about 3000 which I spent on Ski's.

Edit: Just destroying evil snowmen.. I love this game.
