still nothing sadly

thrustmaster basically have zero stock of anything worth buying in the whole country at the moment which is making my job a royal PITA currently.

I am trying my best to get them still.

Does extend to things like the gearstick and optional pedals? The default pedals for the brilliant Thrustmaster TX Racing Wheel Ferrari 458 are plastic and rubbish. I have an adaptor so I can continue to use my G27 pedals, even on XB1 :D

I am keen to grab a TX Racing for myself as I can see the T500RS as being overkill for my needs but the pedals are arguably the weakest part of them.

TM have a pedal set on the price list with a clutch pedal that looks more substantial, sort of a half way house between the TX racing pedal set and the T500RS pedals.

but again, no UK stock...

Bought the G27 way back late 2010 for £204 and hasn't let me down and solidly built it's still as good as new. Precise control and handling after some calibration and very satisfying for hours of fun across all my racing titles with widespread support!

I know Logitech pushed up prices and broke certain promises with prices that meant prices for it and other went right up. Nearly £300 to protect themselves by distribution from their online store only, and from dwindling competitive prices so I guess I got lucky. Don't know how you got them down but great work rjkoneill :D

I have the TX and can confirm this. The wheel itself is brilliant, from what I hear the T500RS and TX wheels are fairly similar in terms of feel, performance etc, it's just that the pedals on the T500RS are so much better. The TX pedals are the same ones as you used to get with the old £70, non-FF 458 wheel.

They've since brought out the T3PA pedals though, which look more interesting. Give me a shout if you ever stock these :)

I didn't realise Thrustmaster had their own UK shop, but at the prices they're asking it makes me wonder if they're deliberately restricting UK stock availability to force impatient people to pay through the nose for their admittedly superior kit.

That is the pedals I meant and assume rjkoneill meant too! Since it doesn't affect sales through ocuk, the BPA-TX-G27 from Bodin Solutions allows a t500/t300/TXOne wheelbase to be plugged into g25/g27 pedals, and the clutch works on xb1 too (I assume it tricks the wheel into thinking they are T3PA pedals). Works fine with the brake spring mod too!

How does the TX shape up against the G27?

The TX racing is as good as the t500 rs in terms of the ffb and base unit. The stock wheel is fairly crap and plasticy compared.to the t500 but can be swapped out.

The pedals are the main letdown of the set but they do the job and again are compatible.with the upgrade pedal set that we will hopefully have listed soon.

I went G25 to TX One, and this is spot on. The wheel doesn't "feel" as good being a bit plastic, BUT the feedback is miles ahead of the logitech in my opinion. I also prefer the paddle shifts on the ferrari stock wheel compared to the G25.

But yeah, the pedals are terrible; no weight so they don't stay on carpet very well unless up against a wall, and even then if you try and put foot to floor, they will lift up. Pretty disappointing really. But the TX base itself; brilliant.

the T300 is off sale at the moment because there is no stock in the UK and no eta for it either.

of both the standard and GTE versions.

this is what stock in the channel shows, it is a website that shows how much stock distribution has.
