This is the 'Elite Dangerous joystick' debacle all over again!
What's the best method to clamp down the G27? Does it come with good enough ones?

Wasn't the T500RS more than £100 cheaper than its current RRP not too long ago?
I also cannot see how it's twice the price of a G27. Even more when you add a shifter.
I'd contend that... based on the quality of the T300, which is excellent and virtually the same wheel as the T500. Apart from the pedals, which are minus a clutch and on a cheaper feeling base (pedals are still metal though)... but if you attach them to something like the Wheel Stand Pro (also excellent btw), there isn't much you can complain about. I'd only make a case for the T500 if you have a shifter and must have a clutch pedal... otherwise T300 all the way. Just a shame you can't get it in the UK!!t500 is still the best retail available wheel.
Any update on ETA's for the TX wheel? Ordered one last week and looking forward to getting my hands on it.

I agree the pedals let it down in comparison, but if you don't need a clutch they are still very good. There are other options anyway, including Fantatec Clubsport and the T3PA Thrustmaster set, which are well priced.the base is very similar in feel but the quality level of the T300 and TX Racing pedals are vastly inferior to that of the T500 unit.
