Have 6 (was 8 but..) cans of stella in the fridge with a Use By / Best Before July 07

So you'd think I'd chuck them away... No!

Now they taste a wee bit odd even for stella, only way I can describe it is you know that taste of booze in your mouth after sleeping a heavy night off, well its like that/

So your wondering wheres the question? Well is it going to be stronger than in date normal stella or weaker?

If I had to guess Id say stronger and mumble something about fermentation but I dont really know. Just guessing

Stella is a damn site nicer than most other lagers I've seen in the UK.

Fosters - eurgh. tastes like bodily waste.
Carling - drinkable if their is nothing else....
Heineken - too expensive for how nice it is
Carlsberg - drinkable...

Thats pretty much all I can get around here. So Stella it is.

If I drink Stella I get a massive hangover in the morning. But if I drink a decent quality lager then it's not so bad... too many chemicals in Stella.

How can something ferment with no yeast in there? A few ales (Thomas Hardy) have the yeast left in so if you keep them for a while the ferment in the bottle :)

Carling = urine, tastes rank

Fosters = same.

Kronenburg - Absolutely rank.

Stella = Not as bad as it's more full-bodied, but still has a dodgy taste and beats you over the head in the morning.

Carlsberg Export - Not too bad, fuller-flavoured due to strength.

San Miguel - The Don, what Stella wishes it was.

EDIT - I'm not a lager fan though at the best of times, I love my ale. :p
