My lyngdorf SDAi2175 has this, and is a class-D design.
All digital baby, with volume going up in 0.1 steps from 0-100, with my ATCs really only putting out sound from 40 onwards. Beast of an amp, although it defaults to 0 when powered off at the plug which is annoying having to crank it all up again.
Solution: Live at homewith parents and leave on standby![]()
Pah, that'll teach you to buy an amp that doesn't have the option to pre-select the volume for each input that you'd like it to default to...

What you mean they don't all let you program the switch on volume you want, the volume level for each input, and whether to ramp down to zero, switch input and ramp back up automatically, to give a softer switch over.
Wowww I have been spoilt for 20 years !!!![]()
Standby...... do they switch off more than that then ??!!! LOL![]()
My amplifier is from the 1950s and I think the designers would have shot me as a witch if I suggested any of that kind of stuff back then

Ye, crap thing. Do you want it for a tenner ?
Sounds nice though![]()
I could maybe stretch to a swap for my old Kenwood 3020se mate, but you know I'd be doing you a favour. Even then it would only be for the rear channels. hehe.
